Sam George - Owner and Head Coach
Sam is 2018 UK Personal Trainer of the Year and has been featured in a variety of media and national radio.
He became a Personal Trainer in 2014 after his own self guided weight loss of 7 stone in 2010 and founded Sam George Fitness soon after.
As well being a fully qualified Personal Trainer, Sam is a certified nutritionist through evidence based provider "MNU" and holds additional qualifications in: Exercise rehabilitation, Exercise referral, Advanced anatomy and physiology, Olympic weight lifting, Kettlebell training, Circuit training and Sports Specific conditioning.
As well as being an experienced trainer and nutritionist, Sam's main strength is his unique understanding of what it takes to make a huge change having been through his own transformation.
Ben Stead - Coach
Ben joined Sam George Fitness in 2017.
A level 4 Personal Trainer, Ben chose to become a Personal Trainer after a serious back injury gave him a new appreciation of health and fitness, and a better understanding of the challenges that others face. He believes in a great outcome for anyone who wants it, and loves to be a part of that journey.
Ben played rugby for Yorkshire as a youth, but is now a keen triathlete and outdoors enthusiast, and is a qualified Mountain Leader. He has completed challenges like the Yorkshire 3 peaks race and his next goal is to complete an Iron Man triathlon.
Ben’s favourite thing as a PT is seeing people’s hard work in the gym pay off in the outside world, whether that is in completing a sporting challenge or feeling better in daily life.
